Menurut cerita your arwah Atok Mamat and your dad, in the picture is the late Tok Long. Yup he was a chinese man and with him there was of course his late wife.

Who is Tok Long, you went and asked.

Well, Tok Long was a brother to your late Moyang, arwah Puan (your moyang’s name is Nyonya).

Ok, you are confused. I know, I understand. Ibu also, dulu. But now, as time passes, Ibu had a better understanding and now will explain so that you would also understand.

This spectacular and wonderful true story of where all of you actually come from, from your ayah side.

My hope is one day, when Ibu and Ayah are no longer around with you, please also tell your children some day of their asal-usul. Of their chinese root. They are afterall their great, great grandparents.

Your father brought all of you yesterday to visit Uncle Chong and his family in Malacca so that you can see with your very own eyes to believe.

Please also always visit them with your own families when you have one some day ok

So! Family tree (your ayah’s side) began with the mother (your Moyang’s mother) of the late Tok Long and arwah Puan. She was born handicapped. Bahasa kita, she ‘tempok’ and had difficulty walking and doing her daily chores. She was so embarrassed of herself and membawa diri merajuk dari kampung di Melaka. For record purposes, she was a muslim by birth. But when she left kampung membawa rajuknya being ‘tidak sempurna’, she ended married a chinese man (Your moyang’s father).

From that marriage, she (your Moyang’s mother) had two children. The late Tok Long (male in photo above) and your arwah Puan (Moyang).

When her husband died, she declared to her two children about she being a melayu before. She then, asked her children to choose their own paths and religion.

The late Tok Long of course chose to remain a chinese and later married the late nenek Long (female in photo above) and went on and had 8 children. One of them is Uncle Chong and Nenek Busu Ti that we went and visited yesterday. It was their ‘hari raya’ yesterday

And the late Tok Long younger sister, arwah Puan (your Moyang) chose to become a muslim as fate had brought her, Alhamdulillah. Arwah Puan later married a kind muslim man name Jaya (your male moyang).

Till here, secara ringkasnya – your moyang (arwah Puan) was a chinese who later decided to convert to Islam and married arwah Tok Jaya ( your moyang lelaki).

Arwah Puan and Tok Jaya were soon blessed with a son who they named, Mamat.

Mamat bin Jaya is of course is your beloved Atok who had peacefully left us to meet Allah SWT on last 18 December 2011. Al Fatihah…

You guys later came ber’bin’ dan ber’binti’kan that wonderful man who I loved with all my heart till Jannah…

With this lengthy entry, Ibu hope in your heart, you would always have your syukur and better understanding of where your family tree started, some along the way.

It is very important that we know who we are and where we came from. We are today because who our parents and grand parents were.

This week also marked eventually another milestone in my career. My team in now officially based in Mont Kiara. To cut short the story, boss kata pergi maka pergilah kitaaaa …

Generally, these past few days banyak-lah hiccup here and there but we are adamant that things will soon settle in, InsyaAllah.

Tempat baru, biasalah bertatih-tatih. But we are the vibrant ones, so we catch up, pretty fast.

Okay what else ….

While yesterday pulak, after some long months, I was back at The Ledang.

Everyone is still as warm. As wonderfully nice! It brings back all those heavenly moments with beloved Adnan, our previous boss everytime I am there. The Ledang was his ‘baby’. And will always be.

My schedules were back-to-back, but Alhamdulillah my mission had been accomplished. The humidity in Gelang Patah was unbearable. But the ‘warmth’ of my team@The Ledang thrashed it all! I love you guys-lah

To just nicely complete the day, we singgah at the much-talked ‘Johor Premium Outlet’ or JPO as it is famously called on our way back to the airport.

A place that all ladies out there should check it out

‘Retail therapy’ is endorsed to beat any other beauty or health therapies that human ever desires, anytime! Hehe

For the La Senza lovers, JPO is our answer to fill up our lingerie drawers, seriously! Go girls..

We made a sweet, meaningful and extremely brief journey down south yesterday.

Arrived Singapore in the wee hours of Saturday morning @ 3 am and back home at 3 am this morning.

Our aunt, Mak Ngah (Arwah my mom’s elder sister) is very ill in NUS right now.

Upon that brief phone call from Spore, my betterhalf and me decided to just pack and go.

Going back to Singapore has always been something to look forward to. The joy to be around our beloved saudara-mara is a joy beyond words.

‘The gift’ of being in Spore everytime is definitely the opportunity to meet up with all the aunts, uncles and cousins yang sungguh ramai itu. It is heavenly.

They are ‘the gift’ that Allah spares me in this life. They are my saudara-mara by relationship (they are hubby’s relatives), but Singapore has always feels more than home

They welcomes me into their lives and homes with a bigggg heart and in return, to me they are all my saudara-mara by blood!

To Mak Ngah and anak-anak, kami doakan jika Mak Ngah kami sakit, temukanlah ubat dan penawarnya. Sembuhkan Ya Allah. Dan jika ajal yang menjengah, ampunkanlah segala dosa Mak Ngah. Dosa kami, Ya Allah. Sesungguhnya, Engkau Maha Pengampun, Maha Penyayang

Di kesempatan yang sungguh pendek itu, dengan izin Allah, I bring back another gift from Singapore. A new year gift perhaps? Alhamdulillah.

The gift,

My Ipad, hardly 3 months into my posession became faulty. Everytime, I connect it to charge – extremely slow to charge and over a night, only then I will get 60 % in battery percentage.

Finally, I sent for repair to Machine Store Sunway Pyramid. Actually, we went already to repair several months ago but was advised to back up its data first, else everything will be erased. So, we went home. Bla bla, then last week we decided to go again and repair since the warranty is expiring.

Then today, this came in my inbox. The email content reads,

“Kindly be informed that diagnose has been done on your unit but we are not able to complete it due to damage not covered under the terms of an Apple One Year Hardware Warranty or an AppleCare Protection Plan. We did check with the Apple, Apple verify that it is clearly that iPad its not be applicable for the dents on that iPad portion and does not occur under normal usage conditions where in handling and usage patterns are responsible for such issue.

Imagine my pissed!!! h(&$8!?eds!&$;9&

To cut short the story, I replied to the email immediately and put in clear record that I refused to accept the explanation.

This is the photo that they attached with the email.

My email must have had some impact that some Mr Chen rang from Mid Valley Apple store.

I confirmed with him that my unit had no water damage or such. Simply because that minor dents that Mr Chen agreed that it is so minor and not deep, they refuse to repair my unit even it is still under warranty.

Yeah – bla bla the so called ‘Terms & Conditions’!!

After an hour phone discussion, I said this to Mr Chen..

“Mr Chen, imagine it is your Ipad. That you bought with your very own hard earned sweat. In your heart and in reality, you know what was wrong with your Ipad. Then, simply because of some tiny dents that was hardly visible, Apple refused to repair even there no proof of water damage or such. To make it worst, it is still under warranty? So, Mr Chen, please find some sincerity in your work and heart and tell me you are not angry??”.

A long pause.

Then, he said he will call me back.

So, some Mr Chen from Apple Store Mid Valley, I am anxiously waiting for your call !

For record purposes and prayed that some soul from that gigantic brand would be reading my misery – I am honestly dissapointed with ‘APPLE’ right now. Big time !!

I am nevertheless, is a great believer in Rezeki Allah. Finger crossed!!

Im a kinda person who is not in favour of judging people. As much as I prayed not to be judged. I went through a lot in my life as all of us do and only me who understands myself. I have made many important decisions that I need not to explain to anyone. Hence, this short entry is not about me judging anyone. Nope.

Cuma rasa terkesima. Rasa perlu. Untuk mengingatkan diri sendiri.

So, today Amalina’s name is super hot. Tersedak-sedak budak tuh, bila nama dia disebut-sebut

Dan sebagai saudara sesama Islam, InsyaALLAH saya hanya mampu bersangka baik. Kepada Allah SWT, diri saya sendiri dan Amalina. Ya, saya Istighfar dan tarik nafas dalam-dalam bila membaca pelbagai artikel dan blog pasal dia dan YouTube yang tunjuk pelbagai also. Mainly, saya Istighfar untuk diri sendiri dan anak-anak saya. Amat takut dengan cabaran hari ini yang mampu mengugat iman yang paling kental. Astaghfirullahal’azim !

Mudahan Allah SWT memanjangkan usia saya, keluarga saya dan adik Amalina seadanya untuk sentiasa beristighfar dan bertaubat dalam mencari redha Allah SWT dan mendapat syafaat Nabi Muhammad SAW.

Dan mudahan Allah SWT meredhai hidup kita semua dan menjadi umatNya yang bersyukur kerana bukankah segenap bahagia, sebekas makanan, se-genius akal dan setapak langkah kita hanya kerana Allah SWT yang Maha Berkehendak sedemikian rupa??

Bukankah dari permulaan dan pengakhiran kita adalah atas izinNya semata?

Subhanallah pohonlah agar Allah SWT tidak menutup akal hati dan fikiran kita walau sedetik cuma.

Ruginya kalau kita dengan rationale mengatakan itu adalah kita. Yang salah dan yang angkuh itu?

Mudahan entry ini menjadi ingatan lagi sekali buat diri sendiri yang alpa Allah huakbar.

Rasa kekok lagi bila menulis ’2012′. Maklum, hijrah di tahun baru, masih merah bermula.

Hmm 2012 tanpa mak dan ayah Itu pun masih kekok. Not having them around. Ayah especially, walaupun sickly and berkerusi roda, he would be as concern when it comes to school stuff. He will ensure urusan sekolah cucu-cucunya diambil berat. He would check and ask if books are bought and will take note of when is school begin and all. Al Fatihah to Ayah yang baru 16 hari tiada lagi bersama kami. Sedihnya…..

I took the deepest breath everytime the thought of losing my parents came to mind. I know dunia is just on loan. And I have faith in happy ending and whatever that crossed my path is beyond any plan and upon Allah SWT blessings as it is the best to happen at that time, InsyaALLAH.

I am still off from work and will only started working tomorrow. I have my baby Miza this year at home as she in now anxiously waiting for her SPM result. I prayyyyyyyy hard she will ease my house chores commitments such as cooking, kemas rumah, basuh baju, jemur baju bla bla bla, until her result is out at least (I know you are reading). Hehe

What kicked off on a dangling mode is of course – Ajin Piji into Standard one! Sungguh comel sebab si kecik itu sudah besar!

Being the youngest sib, he privileged the most! Satu rombongan che kiah pergi sekolah dia during his orientation

As we are into our final hours of twenty eleven, I cite my syukur Alhamdulillah as every single day of it has been lived!

Another meaningful year that it has been and has brought me closer to my well being. Of being an insan, a wifey, a mother, a sister, a friend…

Every single day in 2011 has had a story to tell. And it has always been a good day, Alhamdulillah. Yeah sure I had my downs, but how else not to be happy as each day, Allah SWT spares me chance to live it, right?

Like everyone else, 365 hari di 2011 membawa pelbagai cerita ceria dan duka. I am not spared!

Pelbagai kenangan dan peristiwa 2011 akan selamanya terpahat di hati.

And I wish to carry all those memorable moments with me into my 2012.

Mudah-mudahan 2012 menjanjikan sesuatu yang lebih indah! InsyaAllah!!

Just a brief entry.

Dengan rasa penuh redha tapi hiba to just inform semua yang mengenali saya dan family, that Ayahanda kami yang amat dikasihi, Allahyarham Mamat bin Jaya telah pergi menemui Allah SWT yang Maha Pengampun lagi Maha Penyayang pada 6.45 pm on Sunday, 18 December 2011.

Hani mohon keampunan bagi diri sendiri dan Allahyarham Ayahanda jika ada kelukaan yang terpahat di hati

Our eldest daughter is finally back home from SEPINTAR after her SPM. She finished her last paper on Tues and we fetched her yesterday.

Macam I pun ambik SPM hokay? Hehe. Now I know the feeling bila anak ambik SPM!

I am sure Miza had done her best. So now we all doa banyak-banyak and leave it in the hand of our Creator. May Allah SWT memberkati cita-cita anakanda and spared her the ultimate success!!

From her school, we terussss pergi makan and watched the ntah-hafe-hafe “Breaking Dawn” that she been wanting to watch. No offense eh Edward’s die-for fan. But seriously, I personally think the much anticipated movie was a let down.

Ok, so welcome home baby!
